Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: A Sweet Revenge for the Sequel

by Dave

Based on a popular sci-fi cartoon series featuring cars that transform into robots, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the sequel to the 2007 Transformers film. In both films, the Autobots fight against the evil Decepticons to stop them from ruling the world. Compared to its predecessor, Transformers 2 performs much better.

In Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, viewers are treated to a lot more Autobots and Decepticons than the first movie. The director was able to seamlessly put the robot action scenes in an entertaining way. An example is the Mythbusters scene in which Jamie uses a Vulcan cannon to shoot fish in a barrel.

Another amusing moment is the small robot humping the leg of Mikaela (played by Megan Fox) just like what a dog does. Judy (played by Julie White), the mother of the movie’s protagonist, steals scenes and elicits a lot of guffaws from the audience. For some people, however, the supposedly hilarious moments are overkill.

Of course, Transformers 2 is not without flaws. One may wonder what the production members were thinking when they included the twin robots Skids and Mudflap in the cast. Sure, they provide some comic relief, but this is not enough reason for them to be considered significant in the movie.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen may be lacking in certain areas, but then it achieves its purpose very well, which is to entertain. And for about two and a half hours, the Transformers sequel has given its audience good reasons to enjoy the movie.

Become an Autobot With Transformers Costumes For Halloween

by Dave

The summer hit of 2009, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has once again revived men’s and boys’ love for robots that morph into cars and vice versa. It’s no wonder that Autobot and Decepticon wannabees in Transformers costumes will troop the streets for trick-or-treat or costume parties come Halloween.

Transformers Costumes

Transformers costumes are certainly among the most in-demand Halloween costume ideas especially for boys. The hands-down choice for kids and adults are costumes of the two well-loved Autobots: Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

A Bumblebee costume has yellow and black colors that can definitely grab attention in any Halloween party. For both kids and adults, a blue and red Optimus Prime costume can give them a commanding presence amid the crowd of party guests in different outfits. To complete one’s Optimus Prime look, a sword can be a great accessory.

The Megatron costume is also a popular choice for Halloween parties. A Transformers fan can dress up like the evil leader of the Decepticons to achieve a villainous look. A Megatron costume is a jumpsuit made of dark, metallic silver fabric. A purple Decepticons badge on the chest area complements the Megatron costume.

Looking for Transformers costumes for your kids? You can find Transformers jumpsuits attached with 3D foam chests to imitate the body structure of the robots in Transformers. Some Transformers Halloween costumes come with masks designed to mimic those worn by the Autobots and Decepticons. Gloves are also a must to achieve a perfect Autobot look.

Transformers costumes are very popular ideas for Halloween parties. You can never go wrong with choosing them.
